English-Based Orientation Day is an Orientation Day meant for Non-local Freshmen. As Non-local Freshmen face greater challenges in terms of adapting to a new academic and social environment, this event aims to provide a welcoming platform to connect to and make friends with similar peers. The activities offered, such as Mass Games and Campus Hunt will be largely similar to the local O-Day.

英文迎新日嘅活動與本地迎新日相似，但主要語言改為英文。因為非本地新生對適應全新嘅學習及社會環境有挑戰，這個活動提供一個友善平台，讓非本地新生在港大社群中識朋友。
