The Data Science Association is the student body for data science and related disciplines at the University of Hong Kong. Founded in 2022, we now serve members across all faculties at HKU curious about working with data.

Our aim is to close the gap between the classroom and industry. We run technical workshops on machine learning and quantitative methods; host talks and recruitment sessions with firms in trading, technology and consulting; and organise datathons and hackathons in collaboration with peer societies and corporate partners. Past partners include Morgan Stanley, Jane Street and Amazon Web Services.

Beyond events, DSA is a community. It's a place to find project collaborators, get advice from seniors who have been through the internship cycle, and build things that outlast a semester.
